Note for Reflectors:
Reflectors have 2 mirrors. The alignment between the 2 mirrors (collimation) is of utmost importance! The new telescopes come collimated form the factory, however, if you make any changes or adjustments in any of the screws around/ behind the primary mirror and and those behind the secondary mirror or those holding the spider, the mirrors will go out of alignment with each other and the telescope will require collimation again. Note that collimation is a DIY process, no other persons or dealers will do it. Although it is part and parcel of using a reflector telescope, it can be quite a tedious process. If you are a beginner/ first time telescope user, please refrain from turning/ opening/ adjusting any screws on the telescope other than those controlling the mount and the focuser. Note that sometimes opening up parts of the telescope may also lead to voiding the warranty of the product!
