The Celestron Libra 705 is a special telescope. It is not manufactured by Celestron, it is a collaboration effort between Xiaomi and Celestron. Xiaomi has manufactured this telescope for Celestron. As a result of this collaboration we get a great product at an amazing price! This model’s quality is far superior to Celestron Powerseeker series, at same cost! In fact, we can even compare the quality to that of Astromaster series or even Inspire series, as it comes with stainless steel tripod, vixen dovetail mount (NOT the simple “U” fork mount, wide angle eyepieces, etc.
